U-Name-It Bar is with Magic a rare, ornate CityScape by Michael Garman that was created in 1989. Michael Garman created two versions of U-Name-It Bar – one with magical elements and one without.
U-Name-It Bar with Magic includes a trick lighting element developed for creating illusions in Magic Town. The “magic” allows the a scene to appear down the hallway of the CityScape which will reveal either 2 hidden characters or a filmed illusion of Michael Garman himself appearing as a hologram. Many personalization features were available with this scene. As a result there many varieties exist, including:
- U-Name-It Bar without Magic
- U-Name-It Bar with Magic
- U-Name-It Bar Cabinet
U-Name-It Bar with Magic is NO LONGER AVAILABLE for resale.
The Archives Department at Michael Garman Productions was developed to establish market values for Michael Garman’s retired CityScapes and Sculptures. Establishing the retail value for any of Michael Garman’s CityScapes requires constant investigation into a fluid market with spikes and dips. In the end, the value of any work of art is based on the meaning it has for its consumer, and we in no way can guarantee a resale at the full retail value. The above value represents the retail price we would set for this piece if we had one available at The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery.
