Secure Site Information
How does it all really work?
1. Starting with your order, all data submitted via the checkout form is encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.
2. Making a Positive ID. After you’ve selected items to purchase, you’ll be prompted to continue your order by clicking on “Place Your Order” or “Place Order.” At this point, your browser looks for a “site certificate” to confirm that it is communicating with Michael Garman Productions®. Once a positive ID is made, your order continues.
3. Entering “Secure Mode.” At this point, your computer and our server begin communicating in secure mode, sending data back and forth in an encrypted format. We are ready to ask you for your credit card information. The encryption features of browser software are exceptionally powerful to ensure the security of this data as it is transmitted to our server.
How can you tell if you are Site Secure?
The standard, unsecured URL address begins “http://”. When you enter secure mode, the beginning of the URL address will change to “https://”; the “s” stands for secure. Most browsers in secure mode also display a blue line along the top of the browser window. Netscape NavigatorTM (versions 3.0 and earlier) display a broken key symbol in the lower left corner of your browser window when you are not viewing a secure page of a site. This key will become solid when you enter secure mode. Netscape Communicator 4.0 uses a padlock, in the same location as the key, to indicate if you are in standard or secure mode. The padlock is open in standard mode and closed in secure mode. In Microsoft’s Internet Explorer®, you’ll see a padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser window when the browser is in secure mode.

Shipping & Return/Exchange Policy
All orders placed at michaelgarman.com or by calling Michael Garman Productions® or The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery® are shipped from Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Unless otherwise specified, all orders are shipped using Fed Ex Ground Delivery®. Shipping rates vary depending on weight, size and distance the order will travel.
It is understood that the shipping prices quoted on our website are approximate and subject to change without notice. All shipping rates listed on our website are for Fed Ex Ground Delivery® in the continental US only. Additional fees are required for all international shipments, as well as shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and APO addresses. To confirm actual shipping charges, customers can call us at the above stated toll-free number or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any customer wishing to use a shipping method other than Fed Ex Ground Delivery® must call us prior to placing their order. All efforts will be made to accommodate customer requests, but we cannot guarantee our ability to do so.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for all standard orders. Personalized orders will take longer. Please call for information. Many Michael Garman® sculptures are made to order. If you need to receive an order earlier than the above stated timeframe, please contact The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery® before placing your order.
Damages, Exchanges and Refunds
If an item that we shipped directly to a customer arrives broken, please call our toll-free line immediately: 800-731-3908. We allow up to fourteen days from receipt of shipment for a customer to report any damage incurred in shipping. We recommend that you open your package immediately upon receipt and inspect your purchases. Michael Garman Productions, Inc.® will replace any broken piece free of cost if it was shipped directly from our Colorado Springs location and packaged by our staff. All returned, exchanged or call-tagged pieces must be returned to us in the original packaging.
In the event that an order is damaged in shipping, the following steps are taken:
1. Michael Garman Productions® will issue a Call Tag to have Fed Ex® or any other agreed-upon shipper return to the customer’s home to retrieve the damaged piece.
2. Any and all damaged pieces must be in original packaging. The original barcode and address information on the exterior of the packing box must be legible.
3. Any sculpture that is not in its original packaging cannot be returned, and our product exchange policy is null and void.
4. Upon receipt of the damaged piece, Michael Garman Productions, Inc.® staff will examine the damage, repair it or issue a replacement piece.
5. Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive your replacement.
We are not liable for any damage incurred to any sculpture that was packaged, shipped or handled by a private customer or secondary seller. We are not liable for damage incurred during the shipment of any item that is not in its original packaging. We are not liable for damage reported more than 14 days after receipt of an order. We are not liable for damage that occurs as a result of misuse, abuse or neglect.
Exchanges and Refunds
Any order that has left our Shipping Department cannot be cancelled, modified or changed in any way. All sales are final. No returns or exchanges can be accepted.
